Our Story
Mitch Zorba began his career in the early 2000s in New York City, where he attended the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Soon after, he directed and starred in several Off-Off Broadway productions.
In 2010, he produced and headlined Mofongo Americano, a musical that premiered at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Originally designed to entertain the island’s visitors, the production closed after a six-week run, prompting Zorba to redirect his focus toward another passion: interior design.
By 2015, he reinvented himself once again, this time channeling his creativity into the world of corporate events. Through this pivot, he found a way to merge his love for design with his background in theatrical storytelling—a combination that became the cornerstone of his success.
Today, Zorba serves as the Creative Director of Design Pop, an award-winning event design company based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, recognized for blending artistry, innovation, and immersive experiences.
